It’s a fairy tale come true: marrying rich can be the ticket to your ride off into the sunset. And yet “marrying in” can be a complicated endeavor, especially when there is family wealth.

I started my path to the wedding aisle with a great book about how to develop prenuptial agreements. The book described blissful ways for the prenup to be a foundational pillar to the marriage. Unfortunately, the book was no match for the family attorney who was very focused on protecting my soon-to-be husband’s family resources.
